Former Coronation Street star Tina O’Brien has revealed that she would love to be back on the cobbles.
The actress, who is expecting her first child with her boyfriend Adam Crofts, revealed to
OK! magazine that she would happily reprise her role as Sarah-Louise Platt.
“My priorities have changed in that
Coronation Street is such a massive thing and to work there again would be fantastic,” she explained. “Fingers crossed one day – I’d jump at the chance”.
Speaking about her decision to leave, she said: “I left high school and went straight into
Corrie, so I didn’t know anything else. Being a jobbing actress is difficult, but I’ve never regretted my decision to leave”.
As well as a potential return to the soap, Tina (30) spoke about the moment she realised she was pregnant with her second child (she has a daughter from her relationship with her former co-star Ryan Thomas).
“I just knew straight away. My boobs were bigger and I left a bit odd. We had the conversation that we’d like a baby”.
