Does this mean he's back?
While a lot of us were enjoying the music at Longitude Festival in Marlay Park, another festival, Latitude Festival, was happening over in Suffolk, England. The headliners over there were The Maccabees, The National and New Order.
Also included in the line-up was the Irish singer Foy Vance who played at The BBC Radio 6 Music Stage on Sunday. Foy, originally from Bangor, Northern Ireland, has collaborated with artists such as Plan B, Sheryl Crow and Rudimental. He's also close friends with Ed Sheeran and much to the delight of the Latitude crowd he brought him on stage.
Ed's nine months into a music and public hiatus so the fact he even turned up at the festival was unexpected and then for him to hop up on stage and have a sing song with Foy was amazing.
The two of them sang Foy's song Guiding Light. Watch it here:
Does this mean he's back or coming back soon? We really hope so.
