Eastenders actor Aaron Sidwell, known for his role as Steven Beale on the popular soap, has taken aim at Stacey Solomon with a jibe regarding her recent role in a Dick Whittington pantomime. Stacey appeared in the Milton Keynes panto last week and was pictured reading her lines from a clipboard as she had just flown in from Australia and hadn't time to learn them by heart. According to The Sun, Stacey was only 24 hours home when she appeared in the show after flying in from her stint as a presenter on Extra Camp, the I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here spin-off show. Anyway, Aaron took to Twitter to say that the presenter shouldn't get paid for the job as she hadn't prepared properly. He tweeted a link to an article discussing how Stacey read her lines from a clipboard and wrote alongside it:

"this is disgraceful, shouldn't cash her paycheck".

However, it wasn't long before Joe Swash, Stacey's partner who also happens to be an ex Eastenders star, leapt to his girlfriend's defence: He responded to Aaron's tweet with the words:

Aaron stood his ground and replied:

"Twitter is for sharing your opinion. You have yours, I have mine. I’m not hating".

Others agreed with Joe, with one Twitter user writing that Aaron "was hiding behind a camera and a dying programme" to which said the actor said he had "worked in theatre for eight years but whatever you say".
