David Lowery, who directed the new Disney film Pete's Dragon, was speaking with the blog Ain't It Cool News, when he revealed this news.
He was speaking about a possible remake of Pinocchio but pointed out that it's impossible when you take these rules into consideration because of a scene which shows Pinocchio smoking.
The original was made released in 1940 so there weren't anything rules or limitations like there are today.
He said:
"You can't have smoking anymore! The scene in that movie that had the biggest impact to me was Pinocchio smoking a cigar and turning red.
When you sign a contract with Disney, the things it says your film cannot have are beheadings, impalement or smoking. Those are literally the three things you are not allowed to put into a Disney film."
So there you have it - you will never be able to see anyone smoke or be impaled or beheaded in any Disney movie.
