Much like a long drama, or a horror film, there's a certain mood that you need to be in to watch a David Attenborough documentary because as we all know, his breathtaking features can hit you hard. Really hard. Truth be told, we know exactly what to expect. Breathtaking cinematography? Check. David Attenborough's dulcet tones? Check.  The mating rituals of whales, wolves and whatever else is living on this planet? Check. Heartbreak, death, and environmental despair. Check. What makes Our Planet though is that it's the first time that the beloved broadcaster has made a series that's exclusive to Netflix and you know what that means? Binge watch. Of course, the online streaming giant has had plenty of Attenborough's previous features in their library but Our Planet represents new ground for Netflix and we're delighted to say that it's a massive success. If you loved the likes of Planet Earth, Planet Earth II, Blue Planet, and Dynasties then you're in for a treat. Using the latest technology, Our Planet was filmed entirely in Ultra High Definition in over 50 countries. From exotic jungles to the deepest seas, the project took fours to film and the production had over 600 crew members. As always with Attenborough's work, it has moved plenty of people that have seen it.
