Boyhood took home three of the big awards.
Eddie Redmayne was named Best Actor (Drama) for The Theory of Everything and Birdman's Michael Keaton got the same title for a Musical or Comedy.
Julianne Moore won Best Actress (Drama) for her role in Still Alice while Amy Adams took home Best Actress (Musical or Comedy) for Still Alive.
Kevin Spacey was named Best Actor in Drama Series.
The Grand Budapest Hotel was named Best Film (Musical Comedy) with How to Train Your Dragon 2 taking home the award for Best Animated Film.
As for the television awards, Kevin Spacey (House of Cards), Maggie Gyllenhaal (The Honourable Woman) and Joanne Frroggatt (Downton Abbey) were among the winners.
