Bridget Jones fans rejoice - there is a new book on the way. Just when we thought a new movie from our favourite character, Bridget Jones, was good enough it's just been announced that a fourth book is being published. The author, Helen Fielding, announced the news on Facebook saying:

"Big news, Bridget fans! BRIDGET JONES’S BABY: THE DIARIES by Helen Fielding will be published on 11 October 2016. Based on the original columns published in the Independent newspaper, the book tells Bridget’s story of her somewhat bumpy journey into motherhood. We’ll be sharing all the latest news about the new book with you here, love Bridget HQ x"

We've just over a month to wait for the next movie which sees Bridget caught between two loves in her life, old flame Mark Darcy and newcomer Jack. When we last left them, Mark and Bridget were happily engaged and now we return to a single Bridget, having ended the relationship five years earlier. Fortysomething and single again, she decides to focus on her job as a top news producer and surround herself with old and new friends. While on the look-out for a new love interest she meets Jack, who is played by Patrick Dempsey, a.k.a Doctor McDreamy, and just when she begins to fall for him, she rekindles her relationship with Mark. Somewhere along the way, she falls pregnant and isn't sure which guy is the father. The whole movie centres around figuring out who it is. The movie is out on September 16th, 2016.
