Could Will Smith be hinting at a career in politics? Probably not, but some people in the States are hoping his recent comments are saying just that. He spoke recently with
CSB News to chat about his new movie
Concussion when the topic of politics was raised.
When asked about the current presidential race Smith replied,"If people keep saying all the crazy kinds of stuff they've been saying on the news lately about walls and Muslims, they're going to force me into the political arena."
"I mean, I gotta be the President. Come on!" Smith continued, "What else would I run for?"
Will, who has just been nominated for a Golden Globe for
Concussion, he went on to tell CBS News that he feels he has more to give, saying, "I realized that the dream was too small. I realized that there was no way that I was put here just to be a movie star."
