They performed 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart' at an event in Los Angeles.
Elton John was performing in LA during the week and invited Demi Lovato and Shawn Mendes on stage to perform a tribute to the late David Bowie. They sang a special performance of 'Don't Go Breaking My Heart'.
Elton also spoke about how he has David Bowie to thank for introducing him to Gus Dudgeon and Paul Buckmaster, who both were key figures when John began recording. He told the crowd, "I have David Bowie to thank for that amazing collaboration."
He also performed an extended version of Rocket Man as a tribute to David.
