A post from The Sun Showbiz Twitter account (@TheSun_Showbiz) has gone viral today, no doubt leaving a few red faces in the office.
Despite being taken down and rewritten, a number of people screen-grabbed the tweet which said Michael Jackson (not Michael Douglas) had described his marriage to Catherine Zeta-Jones as fine.
This is the tweet that they sent out earlier today.
It’s not the first fail the publication has suffered this week. On Monday they tweeted that Christian Bale, as opposed to Gareth Bale, had signed on the dotted line for football club Real Madrid.
To be fair they did get the sentiment, if not the names, of the Michael Douglas story correct as the actor has spoken out about his marriage.
The couple's marriage has been hit by split rumours recently.
He told reporters at the Berlin Film Festival: “I have a crisis at home? No... We, we are fine. My wife and I are, are fine.”
Over the weekend it emerged that the couple, who wed in 2000, were taking some time apart. New reports now claim they are going to counselling.
