Helen Flanagan has had a very busy week. First she fell over, then she posted a risqué photo online and now it has emerged that she got a spray tan at half one in the morning!

The former soap star, who is currently shooting for her new show Celebrity Super Spa in Liverpool, apparently couldn’t sleep because she was too pale.

In fact, she ended up asking one of her friends to sort out a spray tan for her at her hotel which ended up happening in the early hours of the morning.

Helen is working on a new show with TOWIE star James Argent.

A source told The Sun: “Helen is very self-conscious. She was in her hotel room and wanted to get a good night’s sleep before filming her new show the next day. But she looked in the mirror and convinced herself she looked really pasty. From that point on she couldn’t sleep.

“Finally her friend got hold of a girl called Nicole Francis – but by the time she got to the hotel it was 1.30am. That didn’t matter to Helen. They did the tanning session and she went straight to bed knowing she’d be looking her best the next morning.”

 

The actress-turned-model hit the headlines quite a few times this week.

And while we decided to take this story with a pinch of salt (who would be that worried about being tanned in bed?!) Helen did mention it on Twitter yesterday.

She tagged the beautician and wrote: “Darling thankyou [sic] so much for my spray tan at 1.30 on Sunday you ledge xxx loved my tan”.

So it turns out it is possible for someone to be that worried about being tanned in bed.
