Tom Cruise Is Working Hard To Win Katie Holmes Back

Rumours have it Tom Cruise is desperate to win back his ex-wife Katie Holmes and is willing to give up Scientology to do it!

The actor and actress divorced only a matter of months ago after six years of marriage.  And it has been claimed that the main reason for their split was Tom’s beliefs in the alternative religion.

Katie and Tom divorced earlier this year after six years together.

Now the 50-year-old seems to have confirmed that as he is said to be distancing himself from it in order to get Katie back.

A source told The People newspaper: “Now he’s lost the most precious thing in his life, he sees that his Scientology beliefs may not have hurt his box office but have ended not one but two marriages.”

Tom was married to Nicole Kidman before they split in 2000. Again, it was suggested that it came down to the Knight and Day star’s involvement with the Church.

Nicole is also said to have walked away from Tom because of Scientology.

The insider added that his latest heartbreak has really hit home with the Hollywood heartthrob: “It was a terrifying and rude awakening for Tom when Katie served him with divorce papers. He’s used to feeling undefeatable and untouchable. When he lost Katie he felt a failure.

“He has lost Nicole and now his wife and daughter. He has always used the Scientology techniques but he has now realised they don’t work in his marriage.”

A number of people believe that this could be enough to make Katie reconcile with her ex-husband as the source explained: “If Tom truly leaves, Katie would reconsider. She was in love with Tom, he was her childhood crush, it took a lot of strength to break free. But now she has peace of mind but no love.”

We have to admit we would love to see Tom happy again and reunited with his family but then again, it could turn out to be a mission impossible…
