Taylor Swift has referred to Calvin Harris by his real name, Adam Wiles, twice recently and confused everyone who didn't know that Calvin wasn't his real name.
First, she etched the letters TS + AW in the sand, while on holidays, and then she thanked her boyfriend, Adam, while collecting an award at the iHeart Radio Awards.
But why is he called Calvin Harris?
The folks over at
Digital Spy have done some digging in the archives and found an old interview with Calvin, from 2009, where he explained the origin of his stage name.
He said, "My first single was more of a soul track, and I thought Calvin Harris sounded a bit more racially ambiguous.
"I thought people might not know if I was black or not. After that, I was stuck with it."
