From baby names to nuptials, trials to tragedies, 2013 was a busy year in the land of the rich and famous. Today, we’re taking a look back at some of the biggest showbiz stories, bad and good, from the past 12 months... January – The year started off quietly but signalled a year of baby news as Michael Bublé revealed his wife Luisana was pregnant with their first child and Adele finally told the world that her son’s name was Angelo. February – Amy Huberman and Brian O’Driscoll welcomed their daughter, Sadie, in February but that wasn’t all that happened as the month also saw Jennifer Lawrence collect the Oscar for Best Actress (after falling on her way up to the stage). March – March was a mixed month with Irish footballer Shay Given splitting from his wife but it wasn’t all bad as Aengus MacGriana became a global star and Mila Kunis gave one of THE best interviews ever. April – It was all about the boy bands during April with former Westlife star Nicky Byrne announcing his and Georgina’s baby news.  Marvin Humes and co also revealed that JLS would be hanging up their singing hats. May – Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie made headlines back in May when she revealed she had had a double mastectomy to lower her risk of cancer. June – Kim Kardashian and Kanye West ended this month on a high by welcoming their daughter North West albeit a few weeks early. July – The start of the summer brought joy with the arrival of Prince George but it was mixed with sadness as news of Cory Monteith’s death spread. Simon Cowell also made a few jaws drop with his baby news. August – Miley Cyrus’ VMA performance hogged the headlines but she wasn’t the only one in the spotlight during this month. Nadine Coyle announced her pregnancy, Katie Price gave birth and A-list couple Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones split up. September – Confirmation that Charlie Hunnam would play Christian Grey in Fifty Shades came in September. So too did news that Corrie star Michael Le Vell had been cleared of all charges against him. October – Just like her daughter did earlier in the year Kim Kardashian got people talking about THAT selfie. As well as that Charlie Hunnam was replaced by Jamie Dornan for Fifty Shades while Enrique Iglesias and Anna Kournikova ended their relationship. November – November saw Lostprophets singer Ian Watkins plead guilty to a number of child sex offences. The month will also be remembered for the death of actor Paul Walker who died tragically in a car crash in Los Angeles. December –  Britain's Got Talent star Susan Boyle bravely spoke out about having Asperger Syndrome but that wasn't all as Ian Watkins was sentenced to 35 years in prison and Irish television presenter Glenda Gilson got engaged.
