Lucy-Jo Hudson and Alan Halsall welcomed their first child together two months ago and now they are showing her off to the world.
The couple, who starred alongside each other in
Coronation Street, can be seen on the cover of this week’s
OK! magazine with their daughter Sienna-Rae.
Speaking about parenthood Alan gushed: “I’ve always wanted to be a dad, but it’s only now she’s here I know why.”
But while they are certainly enjoying their new arrival, the birth wasn’t exactly straightforward as Lucy-Jo explained to the publication.
“She was back to back... It was a painful labour... I remember looking around the room and thinking it was like a murder scene."
The new mum, who most recently appeared in
Wild At Heart, added that it was all worth it in the end. "But when I cuddle her, I forgot all the pain,” she said.
