Former X Factor contestant Katie Waissel has hit out at Cheryl Fernandez-Versini, calling her behaviour “disgusting.” The singer, who is now in a band called Red Velvet, has criticised the Geordie judge for her treatment of Raign. Katie commented on the fact that Cheryl voiced her dislike of contestant Raign. She told New! magazine: “She’s the only one who’s been disgusting to be honest – to make such comments, you’re like, ‘Wait, who are you?’ “It’s annoying. It’s not even TV, it’s just nasty. Simon Cowell has given her a second chance. She should make the most of it. It’s a bit of a s**t show, to be honest.” Katie, who appeared in the 2010 series, reportedly said that she is happy to hear that Cheryl won’t be partaking in a duet in the final this year. The singer appeared on the show back in 2010. “I don’t want her to sing through it and I don’t think anybody else does,” she explained. “She looks beautiful in her calendar but no, don’t sing Cheryl. She can dance. But stop it.” And that’s not all as the 28-year-old also revealed that she regrets ever auditioning for the competition: “If I could turn back time and not fill out that form, I would give every penny in my bank account to do so.
