Rachel is set to play the female lead.
After speculation earlier this year, Rachel has confirmed that she is in "early talks" with Marvel producers to star in next year's Doctor Strange.
Reports have surfaced that the star is being eyed up for the female lead to play opposite Benedict Cumberbatch.
Benedict will play Stephen Vincent Strange.
Rachel confirmed to the New York Times: "It’s still super-early days, and I don’t know where that’s gonna go, if it’s gonna go anywhere at all."
The movie, which will be directed by Scott Derickson, will also star Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor.
Tilda Swinton is also on board for the project.
Doctor Strange, which is set to debut on November 4th 2016, tells the story of a former neurosurgeon, Stephen Vincent Strange (Cumberbatch), who becomes the primary protector of Earth against supernatural threats.Explore more on these topics:
