It's been an interesting week in the world of celebrity especially when it comes to media and young female stars who have had their lives plastered all over the tabloids. Since the release of the New York Times' documentary about Britney Spears and her experience with the media over the years people are now looking at other stars who experienced the same type of unfair treatment. Lindsay Lohan is one of those stars. Lindsay also grew up in the spotlight with the public watching her every move. Like Britney she was asked countless inappropriate questions in interviews about her private life. Lindsay's issues with alcohol and drugs were made very public over the years. An interview with David Letterman has surfaced which shows the star being asked all types of questions about her issues with alcohol and drug abuse and her experience in rehab. All of these questions were put to her in front of a live audience.

Fans are calling for The Late Show host David Letterman to apologise to Lindsay Lohan for an interview he did with her in 2013. In the clip Letterman asks Lindsay "aren't you supposed to be in rehab right now? How long will you be in rehab?" Lindsay replies: "Three months." Letterman then goes on to ask in detail about her experience and probes. "What are they rehabbing what is on their list? What are they gonna work on when you walk through the door?" She answers him by saying "we didn't discuss this in the pre-interview." The clip is a uncomfortable to watch because Lindsay is visibly uncomfortable with the interview and you can hear the audience laughing in the background. Lindsay then says "I think to be honest I'm the happiest when I'm working and the healthiest and I think this is an opportunity for me to you know focus on what I love in life and I don't think it's a bad thing I think it's a blessing." Musician Madison Beer commented on the video saying "this is wrong on so many levels." A Lindsay fan said: "She handled this absurdity with class." Another said "he would never question a grown man in this woman." The Framing Britney Spears documentary is all anyone can talk about at the moment and many celebrities including Miley Cyrus and Sarah Jessica Parker are urging for Britney to be released from her conservatorship after seeing the documentary.
