"Given her desire to be a different type of royal — pushing her own causes using digital and social media — it’s not out of the question she’d think The Tig could play an important role," a source told The Sun.
But the palace has quashed the idea, saying the move was made "to prevent false branding, to avoid others purporting to be the Duchess or affiliated with her."
Sad times.
Meghan set up The Tig in 2014 as "a hub for the discerning palate". There she shared fashion and beauty tips, recipes and restaurant recommendations, the music she enjoyed and accounts of her trips everywhere from New Zealand to Italy.
After less than a year of dating Prince Harry, she shut down The Tig in the spring of 2017, telling readers to "keep finding those Tig moments of discovery, keep laughing and taking risks, and keep being 'the change you wish to see in the world'."Explore more on these topics:
