This is breaking our hearts.
As Trump's inauguration takes place today, many people are looking back over Obama's time in the White House.
One of these people is White House official photographer Pete Souza.
Over the past eight years Pete has been capturing the magic moments of Obama's presidency.
He said that he has been asked numerous times what is favourite photograph he took was, and because he couldn't possibly chose he instead revealed his favourite day.

''It was a Saturday in February 2010.'' He explained on Instagram.
''Washington was under siege with snow. I slept in my office overnight, knowing I probably couldn't drive to the White House the next day.''

''And then I guessed...and yes, hoped...that the President of the United States would be a dad and play with his girls in the snow. And he did.''

The sweet, innocent moment not only has us welling up but also shows us that Barack, in his retirement will probably have a lot of well-deserved fun with his family.
Snow seems to be a fun recurring theme in Pete's favourite pictures, as it wasn't long ago that he shared a similar funny story about
snowmen.
