The Academy Award nominations were announced last week and it was widely expected that Jennifer Aniston would get a nod for her performance in Cake.
However, the 45-year-old was missing from the list leading Jen to announce she was "the number one snubbed" during her appearance on
The Ellen Show yesterday.
Jen also said that there was "a silver lining" to the rejection because now people are talking about the film.
"That's the crazy thing. We are so shocked and amazed that we have had this much love for a movie that hasn't even been released yet".
The star, whose performance in
Cake led to nominations for a Golden Globe, Critics’ Choice Award, and SAG Award, went on to talk about the film which tells the story of a woman who develops chronic pain after a car accident.
Show host Ellen also asked Jen about the above photo from the Golden Globes where the actress grabbed Kate Hudson's bum.
Not skipping a beat, she replied: "Well my gosh, look at her. It's such an irresistible tush. And I'm allowed, women are allowed."
