Nude photographs allegedly showing a number of celebrities, including Jennifer Lawrence, were leaked online last night after what has been described as a large-scale security breach. An anonymous hacker, who reportedly accessed the images via iCloud, claims to have obtained private images of over 100 stars. A number of Lawrence, some of which showed the actress in a state of undress, were posted on website 4chan. A spokesperson for the 24-year-old released the following statement: “This is a flagrant violation of privacy. The authorities have been contacted and will prosecute anyone who posts the stolen photos of Jennifer Lawrence.” Other names on the so-called “master list” include Kate Upton, Ariana Grande, Kim Kardashian, Rihanna and actress Mary E Winstead who took to Twitter to voice her opinions on the matter. She wrote: “To those of you looking at photos I took with my husband years ago in the privacy of our home, hope you feel great about yourselves. “Knowing those photos were deleted long ago, I can only imagine the creepy effort that went into this. Feeling for everyone who got hacked.” Others, including Victoria Justice, have taken to social media to deny the authenticity of the pictures allegedly showing them.
