She's starring in a Christmas film.

Leigh Anne Pinnock is starting a new acting career but that doesn't mean she is any less focused on Little Mix. The singer has said that she hopes to keep going with the girl group despite bagging her first ever acting role in the new rom-com Boxing Day. Set to be the first ever Black British Christmas film, Leigh Anne's involvement is only adding to the rumours that Little Mix might be splitting up. Perrie Edwards and Jade Thirlwall have both also signed on to solo projects, but Leigh Anne has shut down any rumours that the band is ending. Committed to keeping the band as a trio, Leigh Anne told Good Morning Britain presenters Susanna Reid and Ben Shephard on Tuesday: "Definitely not, singing is my number one passion but I do definitely feel like I’ve got the acting bug now. I loved it, I loved every second. "I uncovered a talent I didn’t really know I had so I’m just excited to keep nurturing and see where else this takes me." Along with her new acting career and her job in Little Mix, Leigh Anne admitted that she "doesn’t know how [she’s] even functioning" with her new commitments, as well as being a new mum to twins. The film stars the Little Mix singer alongside Aml Ameen as exes Georgia and Melvin who reconnect over Christmas as he returns to the UK from LA. But there's a twist, he's brought his new fiance Lisa home, and the tension is definitely a major theme. Working with a mostly black cast was refreshing for Leigh Anne, as she recently opened up about her experience with racism in the music industry for the BBC. She added: "It was literally like walking into a whole new world. I just remember when the opportunity came it’s just incredible and an all-Black cast as well, the first of its kind, it’s just a pleasure. "This film allows a lot of the Black community to be seen so you did that for me so thank you."
