Rumours of rivalry between Kendall Jenner and Kim Kardashian have been circulating for months now and this week, Kendall decided to speak out about the reports. The 19-year-old said that she banned her famous sibling from some of her catwalk shows for "selfish" reasons. Speaking to the March issue of Allure magazine, Kendall said: "As selfish as this sounds, I wanted the attention to be on me for five seconds rather than my family. "If they were sitting front row, it would have been all about, 'Oh, Kim goes to Kendall's first fashion show!' "I love Kim, but for a minute I wanted it to be like, 'OK, this is [Kendall's] thing - and she's taking it seriously.''' Mario Testino shot the Allure campaign The model went on to say that despite her modelling success, she still gets very shy and said "I still have a hard time looking at someone when I'm talking to them, and I get nervous". Kendall also told the publication that she had low self-esteem as a teenager saying " "I had just started ninth grade when I got my acne, and I had braces. I wouldn't look people in the eye. "It was not a good time for me, it just killed my self-esteem. I thought when I didn't look at someone, they couldn't see my face".
