Kara Tointon Happy With the Ways Things Are

They have been together for more than two years now but unlike other celebrity couples, Kara Tointon and Artem Chigvintsev are not rushing down the aisle.

Well if she has anything to do with it, they’re not. Hope he wasn’t planning an extravagant secret proposal or anything!

The actress, who met and fell in love with her other half on the set of Strictly Come Dancing, has told The Sun newspaper that just being together is enough for now.

The pair getting up close and personal on the BBC television show.

She said: ‘All relationships are different and you have to see what happens. It’s nice to meet someone and wait. What’s the rush? If you are together, you are together.’

As much as we’d love to see the pair get married, it’s refreshing to see Kara and Artem actually take their time.

Not that we hear much about their relationship these days now that it's not on camera anymore. As the former Eastenders actress admits, she likes to keep her private life to herself.

Happier than ever: Kara and Artem spotted out enjoying a date earlier this year.

‘I hate talking about it because I find it cheesy but everything is great, he is working and I am working and everything is going well,’ she said.

Well all we can say is that whenever they do decide to take the plunge it will most certainly be the most impressive first dance ever!
