Julia Roberts has become the latest Hollywood star to add her voice to the debate about opting for plastic surgery and the pressures faced by women in the entertainment industry.  Roberts, 46, is one of the world's most recognisable faces and one of the highest-paid actors of her generation. Still, she is not immune to feeling the strains of ageing in a notoriously image-obsessed society. Speaking after Renee Zellweger, 45, drew headlines worldwide after attending a recent event with a new look, Roberts admitted that she felt she may have risked her career by not opting for surgery. Roberts was asked about the pressures faced by women in entertainment, following the attention paid to Renee Zellweger's new look Speaking to You magazine, Roberts said: “By Hollywood standards, I guess I’ve already taken a big risk in not having had a facelift.” “But I’ve told Lancome that I want to be an ageing model – so they have to keep me for at least five more years until I’m over 50.” The Pretty Woman star added that she had found peace in her 40s by studying yoga "on a more conscious level" and ridding herself of clutter. “It’s about non-grasping, non-hoarding, cleaning out your closet, dusting out your mind and letting go of the things that weigh you down mentally and emotionally,” she said. “There’s a lightness to my life now – an airy quality of not taking things too seriously. That’s happiness.”
