Looks like we can all kiss goodbye to the idea of Katy Perry and Robert Pattinson as the pop star has been spotted looking very cosy with her former flame John Mayer.

Only a matter of weeks after the Firework songstress admitted to Vogue magazine that she was “still madly in love” with her ex, she has been spotted with him on two occasions in the last five days.

The couple appear to be giving their relationship another chance. 

The couple, who broke up earlier this year, were snapped at New York’s Greenwich Hotel on Saturday and at Friars Foundation Annual Applause Awards Gala on Monday.

A source told People magazine: “When John performed, Katy was enamoured by his performance... When they were sitting down, she had her arm around John at one point. They shared kisses.”

Katy has been linked to Twilight star Robert Pattinson in recent months. 

Another onlooker revealed that they looked “very lovey-dovey” and were “smooching and rubbing one another’s backs”.

Now we’re not ones to judge but we just hope for Katy’s sake that John has done some serious soul-searching and has given up his love rat ways!
