Having heard that Liam Hemsworth was “mortified” by that Miley Cyrus VMA performance, we thought the video for her new single Wrecking Ball might have spelled the end of their relationship.
But it seems not as it has emerged that the Hunger Games actor is actually “very proud” of his other half whose latest single is an online hit already.
Miley Cyrus continues to shock with her latest music video.
A source told HollywoodLife.com: “He is very proud that she is doing the thing that she loves and he supports her, he just doesn’t broadcast it with a parade for the whole world to see.
“He likes being private with her and their relationship whereas she doesn’t but you know what they say – opposites attract.”
It seems Liam isn't concerned about his other half's antics.
Another insider added that Liam isn't annoyed about his fiancé’s most recent antics because it’s not affecting his career: “He can’t really control what she does and this video is another wave into him letting her do what she wants to do because it’s not affecting him or his career, it is all on Miley.”
They explained: “He is just separating everything and treating it as what it is, and that is entertainment. Let’s be honest, she’s not killing anyone.”

Actress Shenae Grimes had something to say about Miley.
But while those closest to the pop star are seemingly supporting her, 90210 star Shenae Grimes took to Twitter to express her feelings about the whole thing.
“WTF is up with Miley’s new music video?” she tweeted. “I mean, I don’t know the girl but if I did I’d demand she bath twice, put some clothes on and give her a big hug...looks like she needs it.”
