Chris Brown is in trouble with the law again today as the LA City Attorney has filed two criminal charges against him.
The charges, driving without a valid license and hit-and-run, relate to an incident in May during which the singer rear-ended a Mercedes.

The charges relate back to an incident in May.
According to reports Brown is being accused of leaving the scene without exchanging his insurance details with the other driver.
If convicted the 24-year-old could face up to six months in jail. In fact, he could face a longer stint what with being on probation over his assault on Rihanna back in 2009.
Brown took to Twitter last night to defend himself. He wrote: “It’s not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous".

Brown is still on probation so could face longer jail time.
He added: "She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures... I work my ass off to provide for my entire family. I’ve made mistakes in the past and have worked hard to be a better person.”
The news comes only a matter of hours after Brown was accused of assaulting a 24-year-old woman in a nightclub.
