Pamela Flood has revealed that she is looking forward to welcoming her second child at the age of forty-two.
The mother-of-one told the Irish Independent that she is more prepared this time around: “I have confidence now and I know what to expect so I’m looking forward to it all the more.”
She also explained that she has no plans to find out what she is having. “I don’t mind at all what I have. It’s something that nobody can explain to you before you have a baby – the love you have for your child,” she told the newspaper.
Pamela added that age is no longer a concern for women having babies: “Before I had my first son, I talked about my age to my aunt.
“She told me not to bat an eyelid because women have always had babies at the age of 42 and 43. It became unfashionable for a couple of decades but now we’re back.”
The television presenter, who already has a two-year-old son, is due to give birth in October.
Speaking recently about her growing family unit, the 41-year-old said: “It’s all good, it’s working well. Now we ain’t the Brady Bunch but it’s pretty good.”

Pamela and her partner Ronan are expecting their second child together.
