It is simply Hozier. All six foot five of him. Yesterday, President Michael D Higgins presented his annual switching on of the Christmas lights event at Áras an Uachtaráin. Among those invited to witness the special occasion was singer songwriter Hozier, who naturally, stood alongside Michael D and Sabina for the purpose of a photograph to prove his attendance. However, the resulting image was one that stunned, shocked, and scandalised the masses, as people desperately struggled to comprehend how one man could appear so lengthy - and the other so slight. The image - which has not been altered in any way - portrays a reality that none of us were willing (or able) to admit before now. ...That Hozier is the tallest man in the world, and we must accept him as our lengthy overlord lest we be crushed by his intensely long frame. But despite this harrowing and deeply moving news, it appears as though Hozier himself is no stranger to being the tallest guy in the room... by at least four foot. The jovial smile on his face (as above) suggests that he knew getting a photo beside Michael D would result in such a comedic image. He was aware. He was ready. And he - as the tallest man in the entire world - takes no prisoners.
