"I knew what I wanted, I just didn't have the confidence"
Her caught up with Irish makeup artist and social media star, Chloe Koyce who revealed she'd love to create her own clothing line and that she still gets "star-struck" over two popular beauty queens despite now being very close friends with them.
Like so many others, Chloe started documenting her life online over lockdown and has continued to see incredible growth on her
Instagram and
TikTok accounts ever since.
Now with over 112,000 Instagram followers, Chloe is a qualified makeup artist and shares everything beauty, makeup and fashion related.
Having worked with top brands like Charlotte Tilbury and MAC, she can certainly teach us a few things about makeup.
The Limerick native is absolutely smashing it online but admitted she delayed starting her Instagram page because of that 'small town mentality' we often hear influencers mention.
She said: "I knew it was what I wanted to do but I just didn't have the confidence to do it.
"I'm the quietest person ever but I don't come across like that on my Instagram.
"When I started out during lockdown, I had this mentality of 'I'm not going to see anyone for two weeks', which actually turned into like three years.
"So, I just had that time and when we came out of lockdown, I was just used to it.
"I've always had that quote in my head: 'Don't let the judgement of others stop you from living your dreams. That has helped me so much."

ICON Management which also represents stars like Keilidh Cashell, Ellie Kelly, Aideen Kate and Lauren Whelan.
She said that after years of looking up to makeup guru, Keilidh Cashell, it's "mad" to be working alongside her now.
Chloe said: "Sometimes I forget that we're friends and I still get a bit star-struck.
"I adore her and Ellie. They were the two that inspired me.
"They motivate me so much because they're so hard-working, same with Aideen."
The good and the bad.
Working as a content creator comes with plenty of challenges with many creators on the receiving end of nasty comments.
Chloe explained that thankfully she doesn't have to deal with much negativity online but says having fellow creators that support her makes a huge difference.
She said: "I'm so lucky, I just let it over my head. I just think about how they [trolls] might be feeling low about themselves and I just let them off."
Living in the content creating world means there are a lot of events and parties so there's no avoiding each other.
Chloe said one of the best things about working in the industry is meeting and bouncing ideas off others who do the same work.
She said: "There's never any kind of competition here. The Irish community, we're just so nice to each other.
"I can sense that there's a bit of competition in the UK but it's not in Ireland at all, especially because we're all on the same team."
Everyone works together drama free and are always each others hype girls: "It's such a nice community of people so I'm really really grateful."
As a fellow culchie, Chloe said although living in Limerick means a lot of travelling, she "couldn't imagine" herself living in Dublin.
She said visiting the city for events and business is "fun" and that she enjoys making the trek up in her beautiful 222 Suzuki 4x4.
"I'm a country girl at heart and so I'll go up to the city when I want to go".

At just 23-years-old, Chloe is super successful and is working really hard to achieve even more. She never stops!
She said she has lots coming down the pipeline but there's one project in particular that she's very excited about.
"I have something coming up with a brand that I've absolutely adored for years. That's all I can say at the moment, otherwise I'll get in so much trouble, but I'm so excited.
"It all just motivates me even more like, I'll get one thing done and I'm straight onto the next thing. I actually never sit down, I'm always like 'what's next?'"
Chloe said among the many ideas she has, she's always wanted to create her own clothing line.
She said: "Fashion has always been what I've wanted to do. When I was in school, I wanted to go to art college and everything.
"My dream collab would be one with a major fashion brand and I'd love to launch my own fashion line in years to come.
"I will definitely, definitely get into making clothes."
