Four people have been arrested in connection to the drugs found at Philip Seymour Hoffman’s apartment, according to reports this morning.
A spokesperson for the New York Police Department confirmed that the four individuals had been taken into custody on Tuesday night but did not confirm that the arrests were related to the actor’s death.
However, numerous media outlets have said that the four are being held in connection with the substances seized from Hoffman’s Manhattan home.
The 46-year-old
was found dead in his apartment on Sunday morning. Police sources said that he was found with a needle in his arm and that 49 envelopes, some of which were empty and some of which were unopened, of heroin were also discovered.
