Lily Allen has never been one to take a dig lying down, so you can bet your bottom dollar that by the time she’s finished with Azealia Banks, Banks will wish she hadn’t stirred this one…

Allen, who has recently returned to music by pairing up with Pink for a new single, was the latest target of outspoken Azealia on Thursday, when the ‘212’ singer reacted to a fan sending her one of Allen’s old tweets.

The tweet, which dates back to last year, read “YOURE ALL JUST JEALOUS CAUSE IM SOOOOOOOO F****** BEAUTIFUL AND HAVE SUCH A PRETTY FACE.” 

But Allen’s sense of humour found a sore spot in Banks, who responded by saying; “Weak. She can't talk though. Not when I met her coked up at yoyo ... And NOT with that ugly husband she has."

Banks sparked the war by posting some very nasty comments about Allen

Lily didn’t react at first, but Banks then followed up by saying; "Your husband looks like a thumb", quite the insult.
