Designer labels are all part and parcel of being a celebrity so seeing a pop star or actress with a latest It bag isn’t much of a surprise.
However despite earning good money, the Sun on Sunday newspaper has reported that Coronation Street stars have been buying counterfeit bags from a female crew member.
Both Michelle Keegan and Kym Marsh have been spotted with the iconic Chanel 2.55, one of the most sought after designer bags as any fashion devotee worth her Louboutins will tell you.

It stands to reason then that it is one of the most imitated and counterfeited bags in the world with knock offs appearing in many corners of the world.
An ITV spokesperson told the paper “The bags are unbranded imitations, not counterfeits, and aren’t sold on work premises or during work time.” It is alleged the bags are being sold for as little as £40.
Coronation Street has been the centre of attention for months now following the suspension of several high profile stars due to allegations of sex offences and the dismissal of Chris Fountain, who played Michelle Keegan’s love interest Tommy, due to the revelation of his distasteful raps which featured lyrics about raping women and bombing houses.
