Michelle Collins will be wishing she never said anything after receiving a torrent of abuse following her comments about an EastEnders actress having her lips done.

The Coronation Street star took to her Twitter account to voice her opinions while she was watching the rival programme.

She asked, “Why do actresses have ridiculous lip jobs done???” before adding: “Watched Easties tonight!! Was shocked! Big Lips just seem to take over the screen! Too distracting!”

And while she didn’t say who exactly she was talking about, fans assumed it was Kierston Wareing who plays Kirsty Branning.

Soon Michelle, who swapped Albert Square for the street, was being targeted by angry fans.

She responded with: “No bitching please! An observation that’s all! Strange now who’s doing the bullying!!?? No more tweeting from me.”

 

Fans on Twitter believed Michelle was talking about Kierston Wareing.

It wasn’t long before the actress deleted her tweets but it didn’t stop there. In fact her daughter Maia ended up jumping to her defence.

After telling the critics to send their “nasty” tweets to her instead Maia said: “To send anything you want, the ruder the more entertaining, because Michelle is a single mother who works from 7am to 7pm everyday.

“And the tweets are actually making her quite upset and she really doesn’t need them at moment. Thank you [sic]”.
