The Greatest Dancer may be over but Cheryl is already being eyed up for new projects.
The 35-year-old came back with a bang after her work hiatus in early 2018, taking to our screens as dance captain on
The Greatest Dancer as well as releasing some new music.
And now, it looks like the jobs just keep on rolling, as the
Love Made Me Do It singer is being tipped to replace Darcey Brussel on
Strictly Come Dancing.
The 49-year-old ballerina is stepping down after judging the show for seven years.
Cheryl would also be a good fit for the show as it could see a surge in viewership as she brings her fanbase with her.
Speaking to
OK!, online betting agency
Coral weighed in on the rumours saying:
“Cheryl has long been linked with a stint on the Strictly dancefloor and perhaps Darcey’s exit will instead see her seal a place on the judging panel."
Their online odds are currently stacked 10/1 for her to take the role.
Last week, fans freaked at the
cryptic message posted by Cheryl that new music might be on the way, well, maybe.
She posted a snap of herself on Instagram, and captioned it:
"When she says March-ish but might have meant May ... (if you know you know)."
Fans obviously reacted with excitement (and some slight frustration at the delay!)
"Next single was supposed to be out in March... Looks like it's May when it will be released," wrote one fan.
Another commented: "SO READY FOR IT!"
"Please be the beginning of May! Be great to have a new summer banger to dance to," said another mega fan.
It looks like we've got a lot of Cheryl to look forward to and we couldn't be happier.
