As we know Britney will be the next celebrity to join James Corden on his daily commute to work.

Britney fans everywhere have finally had all their dreams come true as the queen of pop is set to be the next guest on James Corden's Carpool Karaoke. A few weeks ago, after the rumour mill went crazy, the news was confirmed that she would be taking part in the segment. The full video is due to be shown on James' show on Thursday night and will surface online some time afterwards. Just before we get to see the full thing, James has kindly given a teaser of what to expect which includes her 2003 single Toxic. But what people are raging about is the fact that Britney Jean seems to be miming her own song. Seriously Brit? In the clip, James is seen to start singing Toxic but Britney laughs and almost shies away (honestly, she looks like she'd rather be anywhere else) before miming the bridge to her classic hit.

We've had stellar performances on the show from musicians such as One Direction, Justin Bieber, Adele, Stevie Wonder, Mariah Carey and J-Lo, so we can kinda see why people are so irked over Britney not singing when the whole point of the show is to do karaoke. People took to Twitter to wince at Britney choosing to stay silent in the teaser clip.
