Brian O’Driscoll Has to Fork Out €2000 to Get Running Water in Holiday Home

When we think of a holiday home we think of walking along the shore in the morning, eating lunch in a lovely café in the afternoon and enjoying a few drinks with friends in the evening.

And we are pretty sure that most people, including Brian O’Driscoll, have a similar idea.

But that’s not the case for the Irish rugby international who has to fork out €2000 to regain the water supply to his Wexford holiday home.

According to the Irish Independent the dispute arose over annual service charges for the properties in the Seafield Demesne Hotel and Golf development in Ballymoney. In March the water supply to holiday homes was then cut by Seafield Demesne Management.

Mr Justice Kevin Feeney however said that the management company is not to interfere with the water supply and will restore the water supply to the said properties within a seven day period of receiving payment from the residents. There is hope that the matter can and will be fully resolved in mediation.

Hopefully once they get this sorted, Brian and wife Amy Huberman will be able to enjoy their walks, lunches and drinks once again.
