"I was exposed to so much porn."

Billie Eilish has said that being exposed to porn at aged 11 "destroyed" her brain. The singer, who this year released her second studio album, said that she began watching porn when she was young to feel like "one of the guys." Eilish, 19, told the Howard Stern Show on Sirius XM radio that watching porn negatively affected her own sexual relationships as she got older.

“As a woman I think porn is a disgrace," she said. "I used to watch a lot of porn, to be honest. I started watching porn when I was, like, 11 [...] I think it really destroyed my brain and I feel incredibly devastated that I was exposed to so much porn.

"I thought that was how you learned to have sex [...] The first few times I, you know, had sex, I was not saying no to things that were not good. It was because I thought that’s what I was supposed to be attracted to." Eilish said that she consumed so much porn that it "got to the point where I couldn't watch anything else." She added that from the age of 14, she began watching more violent and abusive content. "Unless it was violent I didn't think it was attractive," she said. "I'm so angry that porn is so loved and I'm so angry at myself for thinking that it was OK. It's how so many people think they're supposed to learn." The multi-Grammy award winner refers to pornography in one of the tracks on her latest album - Male Fantasy. In the song, she sings: "Home alone, trying not to eat, distract myself with pornography. I hate the way she looks at me. "I can't stand the dialogue - she would never be that satisfied, it's a male fantasy. I'm going back to therapy."
