Ariana Grande has been awarded a five-year restraining order against a man who allegedly showed up at her home with a large hunting knife and threatened to kill her. According to Rolling Stone, the singer requested protection last month against Aharaon Brown, who she said appeared outside her residence multiple times this year. She said he first appeared outside her home in the Hollywood Hills in February, before beginning to appear more regularly in August and September, until he was visiting her home “nearly every day and sometimes multiple times a day." Things came to a head on 9 September when the man approached her residence with a large hunting knife and became "combative" when asked to leave by security. He returned hours later with the knife again, allegedly telling one of her security guards: "I'll f**king kill you and her." “The fact that Mr Brown has been regularly coming to my home for over six months terrifies me," Ariana said in the statement. “Based on his threats, I am fearful for my safety and for the safety of my family.” She added that was worried the man would "continue to come to my home and attempt to physically harm or murder me or members of my family" if a restraining order was not granted. The long-term protection order is set to remain in place until October 5th, 2026.
