The sun shone on Irish rugby star Johnny Sexton and his long-time partner Laura Priestley yesterday, as the pair made it official and tied the knot.
The picturesque village of Adare in Co. Limerick attracted many familiar faces on Friday for the ceremony, which took place at the Holy Trinity Abbey church and was followed by a lavish reception at the five-star Adare Manor.

Brian O’Driscoll was among the other rugby stars at the do, but wife Amy Huberman tweeted her disappointment at not being able to make it. Rob Kearney also arrived solo.
Schoolteacher Laura didn’t leave the groom waiting for too long, with multiple reports stating that she arrived at the church just minutes after the scheduled time of 2pm.
The happy couple won’t exactly get to enjoy an extended honeymoon, though, as the groom is due to begin training with his new club Racing Metro in Paris next week.
