Three years ago, model Thylane Blondeau caused controversy when she appeared in a provocative shoot for Vogue Paris.
At the age of 10 she wore heavy makeup and gold stilettos, causing many to accuse the fashion industry of sexualizing children and question whether child models should be allowed to appear in fashion magazines so young.
Now Thylane, who turns 13 next month, is on the cover of French magazine Jalouse which is certain to open up the debate once again despite the fact that her style is much more age-appropriate this time around.
The model, who walked the catwalk for Jean Paul Gaultier as a toddler, has been tipped as the “new Kate Moss” by the publication.
