You have probably seen them on social media, and you have probably wondered what the hell they are. Well, I decided to road test facial rollers, to see what all the fuss is about. I went with the Image Skincare Rose Quartz Facial Roller, purely because I'm such a fan of the brand. It seemed like a no brainer. Facial rolling is actually goes back to ancient times, and it's rumoured to have a tonne of benefits. So what goes on? Basically, I lashed on my serum of the moment (which is CAUDALIE Vinoperfect Radiance Serum btw), and then came the roller.  The first thing I noticed when I took it out of the box was just how cute it looks. Honestly, even if you never used it, it would just look bloody great on your shelf. However, when I did use it, I was pleasantly surprised. If I'm totally honest, I wasn't totally convinced by the whole roller concept before, but I sure am now. And wonderfully, it comes with instructions, so you know the craic. Basically, when massaging my face with the roller, I started at the centre of my face, under my eyes and cheekbones. Then I moved out towards my hairline using the smaller of the two pink stones. Then, using the larger stone, I moved down towards my jawbone, starting at the centre of the chin and moving out towards the bottom of my ear for a lifting effect. The benefits were subtle, but they were there nonetheless. The main one was actually related to my stress levels. The ritual of the roller was really calming, which I loved. I also noticed my skin was less puffy, and my pores seems tighter. It's a handy way to ensure all of your product gets absorbed too, if you choose to roll with a product. All in all, I loved it.
