Black is every wardrobe staple.
It’s classy, it hides spills and it’s basically your best friend.
But keeping your black jeans pristine is tricky work.
It seems inevitable that all jeans are doomed to fade to that dusty charcoal grey colour, no matter how well we take care of them.
Thankfully the good people at
Consumer Reports have gathered some hacks to prolong the lifespan of your favourite dark clothes.
They recommend firstly washing everything inside out – that’s no news to us really. But secondly, they say it’s important to only use a short cycle wash. And thirdly (and something we didn’t consider), you should only ever air dry your dark clothes.
