In the last few weeks I've probably learned more about washing my hands than I ever had before in my 30 years on Earth.
Two of the big things in particular being of course that hot water and soap is better than hand sanitizer and that we should all be washing our hands long enough to sing Happy Birthday To You twice.
LUSH being soap experts came up with the perfect way to help you remember this by creating an amazing new soap that you can actually play like a record, and what does it play?
You guessed it, Happy Birthday, twice!
I love LUSH and I love buying records so this is honestly the product of my dreams and I need to stock up immediately.
The innovative new Soap Record, scented with Lush’s best selling Snow Fairy candy bubblegum fragrance and with a moisturising rapeseed oil soap base, was initially inspired for Lush party shops so children could listen and then break it up to wash their hands with while singing to the birthday boy or girl.
Made in a similar way to a regular vinyl record, the music is first cut onto a lacquer disk and a metalwork created from that.
Then, at the final stage, the soap base is poured onto the metalwork and set to create a soap record that plays.
Of course it is Snow Fairy scented it's bound to smell absolutely divine (who doesn't love Snow Fairy?) and will leave you with squeaky clean, smooth feeling, fresh scented skin. What more could you ask for?
Now on display in the Lush Liverpool (with roll out plans to other key LUSH shops to be confirmed soon), the new innovation joins Lush’s range of 25 bar soaps currently available to purchase online and purchase it I will.
