The first round of colouring left Lucy's hair copper-coloured.
This is standard when going from dark to light and something to bear in mind if you're considering highlights yourself.
Most of us mere mortals don't have the time or money to be sitting in a salon for the whole day, so remember that you'll probably have brassy looking hair for a few days or even weeks before you achieve the shade you want.
Lucy did the whole thing in one sitting though and ended up with an edgy, ombré look that will make her grow-out far more natural and easy to manage - the perfect thing for any brunette to show her colourist when trying to go lighter.
