My skin is much smoother, especially around my cheeks and chin - which were my problem areas. I will happily leave the house without my foundation on (I still have to build up the courage to go into work without it but that day will come).
I have also noticed a huge difference in how makeup sits on my face. I no longer notice my foundation and concealer sitting in between the lumps and bumps of my skin, and instead it sits evenly on the surface and lasts throughout the whole day - something that never happened beforehand.
However, because I am applying factor 50 suncream to my face religiously, I have had to find a way to not make my face look so shiny. But a little experimentation with primers, foundations and powders solved have solved that problem.
When I got my second laser treatment done, I'll admit that after a few days I worried a bit because the redness didn't go down immediately.
Now, FADE initially told me that it could take 3-10 days in total for it to calm down, but I got off lucky the first time - my redness was gone within three days at most.
This time it lasted for about 5 days to a week - but I was assured that redness is a good thing. It means the treatment is working and it will fade in time.
It did, and I'm already happy with the results. I've two more rounds of laser treatment to go, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the final result.
