When the contouring craze came around, it took a little practice to get that beauty look perfected. We'd just about managed it when contouring was deemed too harsh and highlighting aka shiny, glowy, strobing kicked in. To be fair, this makes sense. It's far too easy to go heavy-handed with a highlighter and this is a reminder that less is more.
