Alex Gerrard is married to Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard but she is also a model, fitness columnist and the new brand ambassador for MICRO Pedi. We caught up with the mother-of-three to talk about her favourite beauty products, fashion tips and fitness regime.                                                 Here’s what she had to say about... The MICRO Pedi It’s a great idea and I would go for a pedicure from time to time. It’s the perfect product for pampering and I always take it with me when I’m going on holidays. It’s small, fitting into your handbag, and quick. Also, it’s not aggressive in terms of exfoliation which is great. I think the fact that you can do it yourself is good too because you can feel it working. Her favourite beauty products Obviously, the MICRO Pedi is one of my favourite products. I also like Elemis Softly Softly daily moisturiser , Mac cleanser and Bobbi Brown eyebrow kit. In terms of my daily beauty routine, I try to cleanse, tone and moisturise every day and night. I also take vitamins every day and make sure I exfoliate once a week. Dressing to impress There are a lot of people that I think look amazing but I have to say that Victoria Secret model Alessandra Ambriosa always looks stunning and effortless. Personally I love Givenchy and Yves Saint Laurent. I think it’s important to dress for your shape and what suits you. There’s no point in just wearing something because it’s on trend. I don’t think you can beat jeans, a t-shirt and a blazer. It’s smart but comfortable. Her fitness regime  I try to get three sessions in with my trainer every week. If I’m feeling really good, I’ll also go for a run or a cycle on my own but I always try to stick to those three days a week. I also like classes like boxing and weights. Eating healthy I do try to avoid carbs. I’ll have some in the morning but the I avoid them in the evening. I stick to high-protein foods in general. I’ll still have the odd treat and don’t really believe in cutting things out. At the weekend, I’ll have chocolate. My aim is to just eat healthy.
